Biography
In early spring 2012 two men renewed an acquaintance that began in the mid 1990's, on the internet. Through their mutual love for music and its creation, they met on a site dedicated to the promotion of Indie music - AMP3.com.

Kitusai was creating wonderful, avante-garde soundscapes and collaborating with other artists on the internet. He maintained the persona of a mysterious, French shepherd who created his music in a Pyrenean sheepfold.

Bohdan was writing, recording and performing music with a Canadian rock band called Bogart. Their music crossed many musical boundaries, leading the band to call their style "ock". They went on to record three CDs and much of the material showed up on sites such as AMP3.com and MP3.com.

It was in this environment that Kitusai and Bohdan first met sometime in 1995. The AMP3 environment fostered a camaraderie among the musicians that haunted the chat room and many friendships ensued. Kitusai and Bohdan traded songs and developed a mutual respect for one-another's music. There was some interest expressed by both parties to collaborate. But nothing transpired. Further, as this was still the early days of Indie music, AMP3 eventually faded into obscurity and by 1999 other sites had begun to take its place.

In concert with AMP3's imminent demise, Bogart played its last live performance on December 31, 1999. A fitting close to the end of an era and the beginning of another. Bohdan went on musical hiatus.

Kitusai, on the other hand, continued on his musical adventure - creating evermore interesting music in his sheepfold. In 2011 he released a collaborative effort that came to the attention of Bohdan. It peaked the latter's earlier interest in collaboration with the "French wild man".

Serendipitously, in early 2012, Bohdan sent out an innocuous message on Facebook, stating that he had setup his home studio anew and, within days, Kitusai contacted him, asking if he would like to work on some material he had written. Bohdan accepted immediately.

Upon receipt of twelve, semi-completed pieces, Bohdan had misgivings and felt like a fish out of water. This was not rock and roll! However, the music was great. Steadfastly holding to an "everyone gets out alive" ethic, Bohdan lived with the music for the better part of a year and the result is the debut album by Kitusai & Bohdan called "A Beautiful Day". Not looking back, the pair are already working on a followup. They hope to meet face-to-face one day.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
