Amy Scruggs has been known in the country music industry for more than 15 years and has opened for many Artists including Clint Black, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, Phil Vassar, Little Texas, and many more.

From 2009-2012 she was the spokesperson for the American Veterans of California (AMVETS) performing at veteran and military events throughout the state. Amy has her full energy show with her country band the “Ghostriders” led by her son Ryan Scruggs. Although Amy is rooted in country music, she also performs jazz & pop, accompanying herself at the piano with recent openings for Tony Orlando, Chubby Checker and Frankie Avalon.


Amy's career also includes more than 20 years in sales team coaching and received a "Bestseller" with her book "Lights Camera Action" in the fall of 2021. The past 5 years she has enjoyed her position as the Host for the show "The American Dream" on CNBC as well as being the former Producer & Host of "Veterans One" and "The Retiring Right" TV shows.


Amy's newest EP project "Love Another Day" was Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at Sound Emporium Studios with legendary Music Producer Fred Mollin. Amy Scruggs Long Biography

Raised in San Dimas, California, Amy has been singing and performing her entire life. She is a classically trained pianist and vocalist who has been playing the piano since the age of 4. She has over 15 years of professional singing experience with large audiences where she opened for many country music greats including; Trace Adkins, Clint Black, Charlie Daniels, Little Texas, Hal Ketchum, Phil Vassar, Josh Gracin and others. While in Nashville, she caught the attention of many industry professionals for her powerful vocals and glamorous style. Amy was featured in the July 2009 issue of Country Weekly Magazine as well as the September 2009 cover story for Nashville Music Guide. She recorded her first album, Right Here Right Now, in 2007. Amy recently recorded a new EP in "Music City" (Nashville, TN) produced by legendary music Producer Fred Mollin at Sound Emporium Studios. Her New Single "What If It All Goes Right" Released November 2021. Full EP release 2022.


At the beginning of 2010, she decided to dedicate her musical talents to the Veterans and Troops for all her performances. From 2009 through 2011, Amy was selected as the official Spokesperson for the American Veterans (AMVETS) service foundation of California. Amy’s oldest son, Ryan Scruggs stepped into lead guitar in 2011 and shared the stage and dream with her by performing alongside her. Amy's single “Coming Home”, written by Dave Adams and produced by Paul McKenna, is a celebration song for our heroes. Amy’s Patriotism shines through in her known traditional version of the National Anthem. In 2011, at the request of the United States Army, Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion, Amy was chosen to perform the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium for the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. She recently performed at Military Appreciation Day at San Diego Padres Petco Park Stadium for local Gold Star Families.


Amy is continually dedicated to her support of the veteran and non-profit community through her singing appearances, TV show, community involvement and her 501 (c) 3 , “Voice For Heroes”. Amy is also a Member of the Board for "Saddles In Service" a non-profit, veteran operated ranch, offering an equine therapy program for veterans & first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress.

As a Media Executive, Amy is known as the “Voice and Face” of Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, where she writes, directs and hosts a national digital marketing campaign for a Fortune 500 company. She is the in-house Media Coach for senior company executives and top sales performers. She is also the host for the national TV show, "Financing The American Dream", on CNBC. Her other hosting credits include the TV shows, The American Dream, Lifestyles San Diego, Veterans One and the Retiring Right Show.


Although Amy started in Country Music she is also known for her powerful vocals and piano playing. She continues to perform at private and corporate events, including recent openings for music legends Chubby Checker, Frankie Avalon and Tony Orlando.

Amy is also a bestselling published Author, her new book, "LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION", Media Coaching for Any Professional in Today's Digital World, was released in the fall of 2021. Amy wrote this book, as a way to help her clients become more confident in front of the camera.
