Breaking Southwest, the pop/country band from Dallas, Texas, has been very busy in 2012. In only five short months, BSW has released a new CD, filmed and released a new video, headlined a sold out show at The House Of Blues in Dallas, and now is releasing their debut single, "Reckless & Wild" to radio stations.

Kent Bell, Kyle Gaston and Shannon Ward make up the core of the talented band. Breaking Southwest brings a new, refreshing sound to country music that identifies them as “unique”.

Breaking Southwest's new album, Reckless & Wild, is an all-encompassing collection of songs that touch on a little bit of everything. The title track "Reckless & Wild" is a tribute to being young, free, and secure, and embracing your roots. And then there is "Speed of this Sound," which is a rockin', up-tempo testimonial to how hard this group has worked to write and record fun original music that they and others can relate to. There is of course love in "Southwestern Girl" and "Fall in Love Again," and then they touch on faith and family in the heartwarming "If Only They Could Talk." Holding it together in the middle is a great modern country twist on the classic "Mary Jane's Last Dance." This talented band from Dallas, TX has definitely put their fingerprint on their own unique brand of country music.
