On behalf of Kentucky Just Us, I'm pleased to announce the release of their latest single "Blue Kentucky Morning."
Written by award-winning songwriter, David Stewart, "Blue Kentucky Morning" features the tight harmonies, soulful lead vocal, and tasteful instrumentation that's signature to Kentucky Just Us. This song is a fresh take on traditional bluegrass that keeps you coming back to hear it over and over again.

"Love it!" said Stewart when he first heard Kentucky Just Us's rendition of the song. "I had a home in Nashville for many years and used to travel back there from WY to write for a few weeks at a time... Driving through Kentucky one early morning... The sky was so blue without clouds... That I began to sing... It's been a Blue Kentucky Morning... And from that little phrase the tune was born... So happy to see Kentucky Just Us take it to the fans," explained Stewart.
The performance features Jesse Meador on lead vocal as well as banjo and acoustic guitar. Kacey O'Neal on harmony vocals and fiddle, Shelane O'Neal on upright bass, and 14-year-old Caleb O'Neal on mandolin and harmony vocals. "Blue Kentucky Morning" represents Kentucky Just Us's traditional side while being innovative and unique to their sound.

"Blue Kentucky Morning" is available on nationwide radio and all major streaming platforms. DJ's can access the new single on AirPlay Direct or by reaching out by the contact info above.

Press Release for Kentucky Just Us New Single "Bluegrass Music".

We would like to dedicate this song to the memory of Bobby and Sonny Osborne. Their legacy and impact on Bluegrass Music and the music industry will forever be remembered.

Kentucky Just Us is pleased to announce the release of their newest single, “Bluegrass Music”. “Bluegrass Music” was written by award winning songwriter Tim Raybon and is a true bluegrass song with an upbeat tempo and positive message. The song embodies exactly what you would expect with the title “Bluegrass Music” and so much more. The melody lends itself to high soulful harmonies and powerful driving instrumentation.

“When I wrote ‘Bluegrass Music’ I had Kentucky Just Us in mind as they remind me a lot of the Osborne Brothers. With the high harmonies and banjo driven sound this song really embodies the tradition of bluegrass being passed to another generation. I was elated that Kentucky Just Us recorded this song,” says Raybon.

“Bluegrass Music” represents the passion that Kentucky Just Us has for traditional bluegrass music while remaining true to their own unique sound. The new single features Jesse’s captivating high tenor vocal and his innovative banjo playing, as his well deserved honor of National Banjo Champion suggests. You will also hear the tight three part harmonies by Kacey (fiddle) and Jesse (banjo) that we’ve all come to expect when you hear Kentucky Just Us. Shelane (bass) and engineer and friend Tony Wray (guitar) provide the backbone of the song with impeccable timing. Caleb (mandolin) at only 13, shows off his exceptional skills with an Osborne style break and chop wise beyond his years.

“We were excited for the opportunity to record a Tim Raybon song. He did a fantastic job writing it and I think it’s a perfect song for bluegrass radio,” says Kacey.

“Bluegrass Music” will be available to all major streaming platforms and nationwide radio on July 7th. Radio programmers and DJ’s can access the new single on AirPlay Direct.
