This is what critics say about Anouschka's latest EP, "So Why?", released on June 4, 2010. All proceeds finance her two months of volunteer work with wildlife conservation in South Africa.

The album features the songs "One Of The Finer Days", "Silently", the title track "So Why?" and "Lust".


Anouschka’s conceptualized the entire project "So Why?" from writing and performing the music to designing the very unique cover art. She produced the album with the help of Harris Johns, at Berlin Music Labs.

Anouschka’s previous full-length album, "My Kind Of Heartbreak", (which she also wrote, arranged and produced) listed on the Americana charts for two months, and earned rave reviews. "Eclectic and very good Americana... She has been compared to Rickie Lee Jones, Jewel, and Phoebe Snow. The album was voted a favorite by radio station California 101 and one track placed number 2 on the station Midnight Blues Radio Charts in France.

Anouschka has performed in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Sweden, Germany and South Africa.
