1. WHITE PANTS (02:29)
Written about the insanity of wearing white pants and then being upset when one gets them dirty! Absurd, sarcastic look at society.

I saw someone wearing white pants and there was a stain on the back. I thought that they probably didn't know about it. I thought how funny and ridiculous when people wear white pants, they are SO EASY to get dirty, and right away everyone knows! Is it blood? Is it snot? Is it from a bean burrito? HA!

2. BRAIN FREEZE (02:42)
During recording sessions for the Humongous Fungus album, I had one song that I LOVED, but the melody I had written was too adventurous for my limited vocal range. My drummer said, "We should record it as an instrumental." Brilliant! It was SO fun and catchy that my producer, Sylvia Massy said, "This is SO cool... it's giving me brain freeze!"

3. SCHOOL IS COOL (01:48)
I recorded this for a friend of mine. His daughter was caught doing something wrong at school and as punishment, she had to write a paper about it. She asked the teacher if she could write a song instead.
Her dad sent me a file with Makenna singing the song accapella. I created the recording you hear.

4. COUCH POTATO:
A friend challenged me to write this song because i'm NOT a couch potato. I can hardly sit still and never just sit around. I hope the couch potato's of the world like it!

5. CUTE LITTLE TURD (03:58)
During sessions for a quirky, absurd, adventurous Childrens album, my producer, Sylvia Massy told to keep writing! "Don't stop writing just because we've picked the songs, you might come up with a gem!"
The next morning as I flushed the toilet, the whole idea for Cute Little Turd came to me and I wrote it in about 10 minutes.

6. SUPERMARKET (02:54)
I had quit drinking and was several months sober when I walked into a supermarket with a HUGE, long wine and liquor aisle. I wasn't tempted to buy anything, and actually remembered all my drinking days fondly. I said to myself, "All my friends live in the supermarket." I went home and wrote this song.

7. FIVE DAY WEEKEND 'LIVE' (04:38)
I have always thought our system of working 80% of our lives and having 20% of our lives is wrong. Why did the earliest societies set up their economies that way? Why not have a 2 day work week and just have a life and economy that revolves around that?

This is my song of my hope for the future!
Recorded live in our living room during the corona virus 'stay at home' situation. I added the applause track for a humorous effect.

From Jake at Roctober Magazine:
“Odd quirk-rock truth telling through poppy songs that sound like weirdo novelty rock but are really life lessons that are actually funnier than real novelty rock.”

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
