Biography

The Scott O’Neal Band (or S.O.B. as it’s affectionately called), based in Northern Arizona is a group of seasoned professional musicians. Scott O’Neal the front man for the group is not only a fine guitar player and vocalist but he is a two time nominee for the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame. Gary VanSlyke is the musical director for the group and holds down the rhythm section on bass and vocals along with Greg “Arizona” Funk on drums. With Greg Woodbury on guitar and backing vocals and Troy “T-Roy” Schilperoort on keyboards S.O.B. is a well tuned machine. We can’t forget “Guitar” Mary Kelley adding backing vocals that bring it all together. Their individual musical influences cover a wide spectrum from Rock to Soul and Funk to Jazz and of course BLUES! These influences shine through on their recordings and their live performances.
