Athens, Ohio-based musician presents his new release, "Patchwork Of Light," a collection of original songs featuring Steve Zarate on acoustic guitar, harmonica, egg shaker and vocals & anchored by Terry Douds on standup bass.

Singer-songwriter Steve Zarate writes uplifting songs full of medicinal properties. Performing at many events and venues around southeastern Ohio since 2006, Steve is known as an engaging entertainer. He has been a musician and songwriter most of his life, teaching himself to play guitar and harmonica as a teenager growing up in Columbus, Ohio, and playing music around Athens, Ohio from 1978 to 1991.

An Alaska resident from 1992-97, Steve made his debut CD "Homecoming" in Juneau, releasing it in early '96. Living in Athens again since late '97, Steve has also released "Silver Linings" (2008) and "Live At The Blue Room" (2014).
