Biography
Steve Ed grew up in the shadow of what was once known as “The Hit Recording Capital Of The World” Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The King Of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley's Tupelo Mississippi hometown lay just across the Tennessee River from Steve Ed and Hank Williams stomping grounds were to the South in Montgomery. Steve Ed heard the call of music at a young age through these legends of music but circumstance or fate had other plans as so often it does. Against all odds he threw his hat in the ring at the not so tender age of 53. Steve Ed had decided it was time to give circumstance and fate a smack in the mouth and made the trek to Nashville to record his first song. Now five years later he will celebrate his 58th birthday with an album entitled “Cowboy Blue” and 18 original singles. I think we can safely say that Steve Ed Stone is one Alabama hillbilly with a passion for writing a good old country song.
