Biography
Shawn Lacey is a guitarist/composer who has spent most of his time in Arizona, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest picking up inspiration for his music. He is left handed but plays the guitar right handed. He has captured many images with a camera and also created a number of DAPI (Digitally Altered Photographic Images) which can be viewed at Fine Art America. He has also written a book available on AMAZON and other sites.
In 2013, ASCENT was the first album CD released by this artist. It is an eclectic exploration of instrumental jazz, blues, groove, acoustic and rock composition with a basis in many guitar influences from the 20th & 21st century.
On his second album ESCAPE, you'll find another 15 tracks of eclectic instrumental rock, jazz and acoustic guitar.
Explore what is beyond the ordinary with his third album TERRA released on May 4, 2015 which combines rock, blues, jazz and acoustic guitar and keyboard sounds. One track features electric sitar.
His fourth album FRACTAL covers many genres of instrumental music and has classical and world music influences. Sitar and woodwinds are featured.
