Written by Jessica Watson, "You Don't Believe in Love" blends the band's Appalachian roots with a timeless theme of love, loss, and moving on. Built around a memorable refrain and heartfelt vocal delivery, the song tells the story of coming to terms with a relationship where one person doesn't share the same belief in love and commitment. The track offers a fresh yet familiar sound that reflects Blue Ridge Gathering's unique place within today's Appalachian music landscape.

The trio has earned recognition throughout the traditional music community, including 1st Place in the Neo-Traditional Band Competition at the Appalachian Stringband Festival (Clifftop) in 2024, along with awards for Best Original Song (2023) and Best Original Instrumental Tune (2024). In 2025, the band was named a Top Three Finalist in the FreshGrass Band Contest.
