Biography

Pioneer of fractal math based music, having released 7 albums of music related to musical experimentation, and 3 sci-fi concept albums; also with wide ranging careers in music, commercial art, and technology -- Xeno Giraffe is mostly interested in "the visual story" presented musically. Looking at technology as a tool for expression about the human condition, working with a small group of talented people, learning new things is an everyday experience. Xeno Giraffe is introverted, but not shy -- due to a deep curiosity about others; their condition and struggles. An alignment of interests and talent combined -- which are Art and Science based: movies, music, and news - all centered on the human condition has been the central interest in life for Xeno Giraffe.

Xeno Giraffe has been an artist in many fields over a 31 year career in independent underground and avant garde scene from East Tennesee to Boston to Washington DC, and down to Atlanta. A constant work-a-day approach of 12 to 15 hour days to make music has yielded a to a growing, loyal -- following of fans.

No tours are planned for 2012 while he is releasing and creating experimental, alternative, rock, dance, folk, and electronic music -- and concept albums for the new digital frontier out of Panthalassa Studios, and published through American Pangea, digitally distributed by CDBaby.com and promoted by Airplay Direct.

Progression in musical interest began in earnest of 1976 - Xeno Giraffe started work at WTTU-FM as a DJ, Music Director, and News Director that had an Underground Deep Album Cuts format that was a mix of Music Director and DJ over air decisions in music air play, working at the same time doing live DJ gigs.
