Biography

Piotr Janeczek (artist name Ashaneen) is an ambient, new age, cinematic music composer from Poland, specializing in creating unique, high-quality music and soundscapes for relaxation and meditation.

Through his large body of work, Piotr continuously supports practitioners of music therapy, hypnosis, psychotherapy and healing with recordings that optimally support listeners with the process of relaxation to restore their mental, emotional and physical balance. His beautiful relaxation music achieves an ambience of calm and harmony that helps an individual feel relaxed, refreshed and renewed amidst life's daily rigors and challenges. Listening to his relaxing music has been a proven method for stress relief and energy rejuvenation.

Blending spacey atmospheres and ethereal worlds, dreamy choirs and distant voices, his mysterious and tranquil soundscapes are widely used as excellent music backgrounds in a variety of relaxation, meditation, healing, massage, sleep, hypnosis and psychotherapeutic sessions, spa and wellness programs. For example, Piotr's relaxation/meditation music was used as background in the online guided meditation program by Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey called Oprah & Deepak's 21-Day Meditation Experience: Desire & Destiny.

In addition to relaxation and meditation, Piotr's compositions also work perfectly for documentary, film and audio-video projects involving space, science, wildlife, nature, travel, cultural, history, human relationships, mind and awareness, paranormal and mystical, science-fiction and fantasy themes.
