Biography
Singer/Songwriter Sean Young Wing heading the band Smith Tuttle in the early ’90s and became one of the most sought-after grunge rock bands, they were even featured in one of the country’s leading newspapers that launched a children/teen game at the time.
Sean left Trinidad’s music scene shortly after because of the lack of opportunities in every facet of the local music industry.
In the early 2000s Sean re-entered the market, but in more of a consultant and Supplier capacity, where he owned and operated a small Sound System and Backline company called Chantwell Music for over 15 years, through which he worked as a subcontracted stage tech and backline supplies for many international acts including Evanescence, Maroon 5, Michael Bolton, Brian Brian McKnight, Peabo Bryson, Skid Row, and many others.
At this point, he longed to hit the stage himself again and formed Tie Dye Kitty an Alt-Rock outfit, after 2 septet attempts to get the band going and much time wasted, Sean decided to become a solo act.
He then taught himself audio production and video production and has produced a couple local acts in an attempt to kick start their careers.
After this Sean started pressing on into Tie Dye Kitty’s Youtube channel as an outlet to help other struggling musicians navigate the music industry as well as an outlet for self-expression.
