Biography
The Savage Hearts is a fiery bluegrass meets honky tonk band founded by original “Jeff Scroggins and Colorado” fiddler, Annie Savage, bluegrass titan Greg Blake and Canadian songbird Tracy Lynn. Audiences can expect a highly entertaining stage show with drill-it-to-the-wall three part harmonies and bombastic instrumentals. The band also specializes in stage banter that could bring a tear to a glass eye and has a passion for providing educational outreach and gospel sets.
Special guests have included Becky Buller, Ellie Hakanson, Jeff Scroggins, Eric Thorin, Charlie Rose among many others.
Recent performances include: IBMA Showcase and Band Ramble, Durango Meltdown, Kaufman Kamp, MidWinter Bluegrass Festival, Vancouver Island Music Festival and the International Folk Alliance conference in addition to presentations at the American String Teacher’s Association and various state and national level music education conferences.
The Savage Hearts look forward to bringing their spicy blend of bluegrass to your festival and workshop stage.
