Roosevelt Dime releases cover of Tom Petty's "American Girl"
Brooklyn's Roosevelt Dime has released their groovy rhythm and blues infused version of the Tom Petty classic. The accompanying music video reimagines the concept of "American Girl" for the 21st century.

On April 9, 2015 Roosevelt Dime will be releasing their new digital single "Pass It On." It is their arrangement of the classic Bob Marley and The Wailers song from their 1973 album "Burnin." It was recorded over three days (Feb 19-21) in Kansas City, MO at the 2015 Folk Alliance International Conference with some of the tope acts on the Folk and Americana circuit including The Stray Birds, Ellis Paul, and Laura Cortese. In the spirit of the collaborative nature of the project and the positivity of the song itself, Roosevelt Dime will be donating 100% of the proceeds of the song's sale to The Equal Justice Initiative, which seeks fair and just treatment for all citizens.
