Biography
Story of the Blues began as a project with Rickey’s good friend, Dennis “Willie D” Williams. It was to be a tribute to Gary Moore, a musician they both admired and respected and who was gone too soon. Sadly, Dennis was only able to complete one song, the title track, before he followed Gary to an undeserved and early grave. Rickey spent several years finishing up the tracks while working on other projects and is excited to present this collection of contemporary blues tunes with a distinctive guitar sound giving a nod to Gary as well as one to Eddie Van Halen.
