Biography
Patrick Goble is an American guitarist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher. He is known for both his neo-classical guitar playing as well as for producing a large number of recordings in a variety of musical styles, including rock, jazz, blues, electronica, and orchestral.
Goble first developed an interest in the drums when he was six years old, after his father, an amateur drummer, introduced them to him. At the age of eleven, Goble began teaching himself twelve-string guitar and shortly thereafter obtained an Epiphone electric. By the time Goble was twelve, he had stop attending public school and had decided to dedicate his time to learning music, which he taught himself for the next seven years. During this time, he studied guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, ukulele, violin, and didgeridoo. He began recording music in the late 1990s, and he released his first album, Home Recordings, in 2004.
At the age of nineteen, Goble was awarded a scholarship to study at the Musicians Institute. He has been teaching guitar professionally since 2006, and he served as a visiting lecturer at Huaihua University in 2012.
