Biography
On the beautiful shores of the small island of Barbados, perfectly nested on the cool sandy beaches of the Caribbean Sea just 1229.69 from the island of Jamaica. s where you will hear the bellowing sounds of Evangelist which rhymes echoing repentance across the Caribbean waters.
Evangelist started out as a secular artist at the age of 16. In a genre style of music indigenous to Jamaica, known as dancehall, made popular back in the 70s.
Two years later Evangelist got saved and took that tool and has used it to bring souls to the Lord. "My revolutionary change came about when I was 18 years old". Evangelist's Dancehall Gospel has a unique sound, of almost as if telling an incredible story you don't want to miss.
"It is such an awesome experience for me to share what I have with as many that will listen. My goals are to write and sing more songs with messages that would help to avoid Hell, edify and encourage a walk with God and help to see through satan's illusion. I want to take my music as far as God wants it to go and to get as much souls in the Kingdom of God as possible". Music is my calling, I feel blessed and complete", says Evangelist.
His talent has enabled him to sing at different church events, create multiple tracks compiled
on mix tapes and to be featured on the stage of international artist Hoszia Hinds. Evangelist is influenced by DJ Nicholas and Lecrae.
