Biography
LiL Corey was born as Corey Rogers on April 26, 1991 and has been listening to music all of his life. He started free styling at the age of 7 and was given his first rap name " Silo aka LiL C." at age 11 he became more focused on music and starting writing his own songs. In the 5th grade he started rapping in class to the other students and by the time he got to Middle School he was determined to make rapping his career in life. His brother Rocky would tell him "keep it up you're going to make it one day." So LiL Corey began to upgrade his "flo." He attended 6th grade at "Thomas Carr Howe Academy" and was battle rapping other students and taking no losses. His whole middle school experience was about making a name for himself. By the time he reached Arlington High School he was known as LiL Corey, his rapping skills and had a fan base started. LiL Corey started a rap group with his brother Truble called "The Beast Squad." and for the first time they were going to the studio. LiL Corey became even more excited about writing music after meeting "D-Trav" and hearing him rap. LiL Corey put his in the Beast Squad Click. The crew of the Beast Squad consisted of LiL Corey, Truble Child, and D-Trav. D-Trav's cousin, Geronimoe Bill$ heard the music they were bringing and wanted to work with them as a group. With Geronimoe Bill$ they recorded their first mixtape titled "Beast Season" in 2009. They didn't get much exposure and the group decided to split up. Geronimoe Bill$ saw that LiL Corey was still focused on his music career and decided to work with him on his first solo album titled, " It's Money Time." Now Corey Rogers aka LiL Corery is signed to Wyze Lyfe Records " It's Money Time."
