Biography

Leyan Senay is a Belgian independent drummer, drum educator, songwriter & Turkish ambassador of Hit Like A Girl. She studied piano at highschool and her major was English Literature at the university. Then she discovered her passion for drums and began her drum journey at earlies of 20s. She toured with famous bands & orchestras throughout Turkey then finally she began to follow her own path as an independent drummer and begin giving drum workshops and making performances worldwide by representing odd time Turkish traditional grooves to the whole world! One of her biggest aim became giving inspiration and encouragement to women for following their dreams then she became Ted X speaker and gained a reward for '2022's most inspirational woman of the year'. She also create contents for social media for 5 years. Now, she opened a new page in her musical journey and begin creating her own songs!
