Biography

Tyroneus is a producer, vocalist, and songwriter from the Northwest. He credits his musical inclinations towards growing up constantly around a studio or live show involving his family. Rone originally began producing music at the age of 14 when his oldest brother influenced his production tastes and taught him the fundamentals of beat production. Tyroneus immediately integrated his production style into very early versions of computer digital audio workstations, which were still in their infancy in Hip Hop production where hardware like Korg's Triton and Akai's MPC were king. This gave his production a notably different and unique distinction over typical production as he was able to do more with an extremely limited budget.

After releasing a string of albums in the underground circuit within Washington, Tyroneus founded his production label GameRunnaZ Records based around his crew The GameRunnaZ who were known for their daily parties and activities on the then active segment of 5th & Oak. His first two singles “Fuss Wit' Me” and “GameTime” from his third album, Below Tha Belt 2, were received well and were in daily rotation on KUBE 93.3FM in Seattle.

After the original group dis-banned, some members stayed connected. Tyroneus released The Underground Legend after relocating where his delivery style had notable changed. Personally, Rone went through life changes, spending less time on the streets promoting his releases and more time “putting food on the table.” However, The Underground Legend was well received on the internet.

In late 2008, Tyroneus came back with a newly polished production style emphasizing simplicity in a clean fresh sound. Ashy To Classy proved Rone was onto something good, securing four film sync licenses within the first year, and the 16 track album continues to land more film and commercial placements.

Currently, Tyroneus still builds GameRunnaZ Records, signing the Rock & Hip Hop cross-over group The Phonetiks, as well as pop singer Kelsey Sage to the label. His latest album, Affirmations, is set for release Summer of 2011 and includes a showcase of Tyroneus' amazing production, singing and lyrical abilities.For more information, visit http://www.gamerunnaz.com
