Biography
Joe Carbone is a guitarist/composer influenced by a variety of rock – blues & jazz artists. After studying jazz for several years at Jacksonville University, his music is truly a fusion of the major musical elements that have shaped our generation. Joe has taken his music to the streets – literally, playing in many “street corner concerts” in urban neighborhoods, as well as private parties and church related gatherings.

Emma Shipp is a veteran Jazz and R&B vocalist. Singing with Teddy Washington at The Jacksonville Super Bowl and other renowned artists at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival in North Florida, Emma’s versatility and beautiful harmonic range has been appreciated by many.

Ann Daniels Roush is a multifaceted entertainer. As lead singer for the jazz-fusion group “Bluestone,” Ann has performed at the Ritz Theatre – The Ritz Carlton Hotel and numerous other venues in North Florida.

John Roush is a musician and multi-media director. Growing up in the Midwest, playing in nightclubs since the age of 14, John developed a love for Jazz & Blues that has remained until this day. Residing in Jacksonville, FL with his wife Ann, he is the leader of an ecumenical advocacy group called “The Minority Gang” – the Creative Director of “Muzeeka Productions” and guitarist/composer in the jazz-fusion group “Bluestone.” “Whatz in the Mix?” is a non-profit effort to raise funds for the poor. Proceeds gathered from the distribution of this recording will be channeled through the global humanitarian/relief organization World Vision International. We hope you enjoy the music and help us bring relief to those who are suffering from extreme poverty in our world.
