John Otto Young is a Connecticut keyboardist, musician, and songwriter who has been playing and recording in a number of projects over the last 6 decades. These include the Center Street Band as well as Howard Eldridge and the Soul Potatoes. He has also co-produced 3 albums, including 2 earlier releases by the Center Street Band.

Sunset Tour, released in May of 2019, is John’s debut solo album as a songwriter and represents a range of musical styles and influences that have infiltrated his brain over the course of his musical career.

John currently has the keyboard chair in the Soul Potatoes, a Connecticut blues band, which features vocalist Howard Eldridge, former lead singer for the Matt 'Guitar' Murphy Band, and guitarist Paul Gabriel, a 2017 BMA award nominee and Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame lifetime award winner. Both have feature spots in Sunset Tour.
