BIO:

Formed in 2009 by the miracle that is Craigslist, Jetpack Armada is an alternative, americana, southern-rock band. They have a unique sound all their own. Their members have played in venues across the country, and are now playing in and around Orange County, California. Currently, they are writing and working on putting together a demo.

JETPACK ARMADA and it's members have been featured performers at live music institutions across the country including The Knitting Factory (NYC), B.B. King's (Los Angeles, CA), The Tabernacle (Atlanta, GA), House of Blues (Anaheim, CA), Belly Up Tavern (Solano Beach, CA), Blue Cafe (Orange County, CA), Disneyland (Happiest Place on Earth), Earth Day San Diego, Brian's garage (Long Beach, CA) and in the hearts and souls of legions of fans, friends and family members across the globe. JETPACK ARMADA's songs have been heard on MTV's "Made", CNN, and several independent films. Songs have received international awards and recognition within the industry contests such as VH-1 Song of the Year (Finalist), CNN International Talent Contest (Grand Prize Winner), and Garageband.com's "Track of the Day".

JPA has played for crowds of 3000, and crowds of 3. They have shared the stage with Mike Watt (Iggy Pop), The Breakup, Y-O-U, and more...

The principal songwriter of the band, Jody Friedman has been an honored recipient of the ASCAPPlus Award in the Jazz and Popular Division for three years running, and is featured on the cover of the 9th Edition of the Indie Bible. http://www.indiebible.com/
