Biography

International award winning trombonist, composer, arranger and musical director. Composed 11 CDs with Big Band, Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz combos. Jens Wendleboe is originally from Denmark. His arrangements and conducting experience in European television productions is extensive, including The Norwegian Radio Symphony, The European All Star Big Band, the Norwegian Grammys, and pop artist Donna Summer with whom he is musical director.

Other work has included theater productions, film scoring and numerous tours with his and other groups. Jens has released many recordings under his own name as a jazz artist, as well as with his own group :The Crazy Energy Big Band. Jens has served on the faculty of the Ostlandske Music Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music in Oslo.
