Biography

James Crouch is a Florida-based guitarist; his musical specialties are primarily rock and blues, and he's been performing this sort of music live for over four decades. However, his overall repertoire is rather diversified and includes folk, flamenco, metal, and progressive, all of which he has recorded in studios and performed before live audiences. In the past James' has played live music with oldies acts such as The Tokens and others. Beyond that, he's also composed and recorded various types of music that are suitable for use in multimedia productions as soundtracks.

He's opened up for Eddie Money in Daytona Beach in 2012, and played another series of gigs in various venues of Daytona Beach during the Bikeweek 2012 festival. He's also regularly found working as a guitarist/producer at Full Sail University, an activity that has been ongoing since about 2000. In this setting, he's recorded various types of music as well as participating in the production of music videos. In his spare time, he also teach's guitar lessons to students.

Former James Crouch Band members include: Dale Rock -former drummer with Molly Hatchet, Banner Thomas - original bassist with Molly Hatchet, Tommy Curiale - formerly with Rick Derringer and currently with Johnny Winters, Dan Walters - currently with Les Dudek - former bassist with LFO, Ronnie Foster - former drummer for Roy Buchanan.

James Crouch has opened for:
Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Blue Oyster Cult, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Jimmy Thackery, The Nighthawks, Brian Howe - former singer for Bad Company, Bo Diddley, Molly Hatchet, Rick Derringer (4xs), Fran & Anthony Cosmo, former members of Boston, and Tommy Tutone.
He also recorded a critically acclaimed CD, Lost Souls, with Grammy Award winning engineer Juan Covas in 2006.
