I.O.P
Biography
I.O.P was born on Sunday, June 5, 1983 at the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in San Juan, P.R. His mother, Margarita Mulet, also a native of Puerto Rico lives and has lived all her life in the island. His father, Anthony C. González Barroso, was born in Havana, Cuba. From an early age, Norbert was intrigued by music, always having different instruments around the house such as guitars, keyboards, pianos, bass guitars, and drums. He learned the basics and the sounds of the instruments but was never attracted by them. Growing up in Puerto Rico was not easy: having all sorts of ethnicities around, there was a plethora of flavors and musical choices. Influenced by many upcoming Hip-Hop and Jamaican artists surged a sound native to our island called Reggaeton.

Finally in 1996, when he attended one of his first big time concerts, he stood in awe as he saw his favorite artists perform on stage and disbelieving remarks that Reggaeton wasn't going anywhere. At the age of 16, Norbert bought, with money from delivering newspapers, his first set of turntables (belt driven), and a crate full of records that included music such as LL Cool J, Run DMC, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., and other American and European sounds. After finishing with his studies, Norbert decided that he wanted to become involved with the music that made headlines in Puerto Rico, becoming an ambassador for Reggaeton and relocating to Florida. At 19 he began his higher education in the fields of sound engineering and principles of business. Along the way, with blessings from the CEO's of several Reggaeton production companies, he began his journey promoting and establishing an image as DJ IOP, the initials for the Latin phrase "In Omnia Paratus" which translated to English means 'Ready for Anything'.

IOP, as headlining entertainer, has performed in some of the most upscale venues in the world! Also keeping a tight relationship with all companies and artists in the genre. IOP keeps putting his music in front of the world so that they can recognize what we have been doing for over 15 years. As stated by the majority of the artists in the latin urban genre, "IOP is the official delegate of Reggaeton in Puerto Rico and Florida".

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
