Ian's new Christmas release, "Everybody's Happy 'Cause It's Christmas Time", is a unique look at a snowy, serene winter world through the mind and voice that is Ian Lloyd.
The former lead singer and founding member of Stories, Ian is cemented in Rock n' Roll history with his worldwide #1 hit "Brother Louie" and other Top 40 hits including "Mammy Blue", "Im Coming Home" and "Top Of The City". His distinctive voice has appeared on numerous recordings by legendary acts including Yes, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Billy Joel, Ian McDonald [of King Crimson /Foreigner], and Survivor. The Ian Lloyd sound has touched a generation and resonates as strongly as ever.
Ian Lloyd's Stories continues his tradition of powerful vocals and electric live performances. In addition to performing classic Stories songs and music from his solo projects, he is a member of the contemporary New York City Rock unit Social Hero, who is about to release their 2nd album. You can also hear him weekly, singing the theme song to Louis C.K.'s FX Network hit sitcom "Louie"! Next up is a collaboration with John Ford of The Strawbs. FORD/LLOYD - should see the light of day by the end of 2012.
