Hughes Bros
Biography
5. broth·er·hood - Noun
The belief that all people should act with warmth and equality toward one another, regardless of differences in race, creed, nationality, etc.
They say the dictionary doesn’t lie and it's a philosophy the Hughes
brothers swear by.

The Hughes Brothers musical adventure ignited in Germany over a cold european winter in 2010 as Simon began emailing song ideas to his brother back home in New Zealand.

Inspired by the sights and sounds of travelling through europe in winter “So many places” - the Hughes Brothers first track - Brings to life the
experience of a brutal, yet enchanting European winter. Driven by the
thrills & spills of travel in pursuit of an adventure.

After that first email spark, Simon & Benjamin continued sending their
collective ideas backwards and forwards across the globe until Simon returned to NZ and they developed the sound they now call their own.
Although they both had immersed themselves in music from a young age, it
was the first spark of a collaboration that would cement the Hughes Brothers as a band.

“Brothers have this unspoken bond which allows a genuine interaction and
respect that surpasses any other relationship. When you take this
partnership into the creative realm, there’s a deeper sense of purpose and
meaning to it. It’s authenticity at it's best. "

With new brother Rene joining the family duo on drums, The trio are about to embark on an overseas adventure together, moving from their isolated
home country New Zealand to the place where they had originally began their journey - Berlin, Germany.
