Some people say that the imagination is limited to what is seen...well those people need to step out of that black and white box.

On the 26th day of the 4th month of 1978 Keith Harrington II, or better known as El Gitano, was born. His alternative hip hoppish style is what he likes to call "Circus Music". He is bringing something extra to the table combining tango, flamenco, jazz, arabian rhythms and spanglish rhymes which put him on the higher end of the World Music/Hip Hop genre.


After a four year break since his last album, El Gitano is working on a new album, Caravan 26: The Return of the Circus, which will be released in January 2010. The first single, “Journey Through the Circus”, is a great example of his diverse style in action. “Jungle Animals (Los Animales de la Jungla)”, will be the second single and is fast paced, vivid and takes you on a trip into the wild. Along with old friends J Reel and Reiley, the bar has officially been raised to a completely different level.

Over the years, El Gitano has recorded numerous albums which appear under various names (KRaZ, Twisted Gypsy, KRaZ the Twisted Gypsy) before his name change to El Gitano in 2005. He has also had a few international hit singles including, “Lady”, “This Nursery Rhyme”, “Carny Folk Music”, “Water”, “On the Road feat. J Boogie + J Reel” and “Gypsy Knights”. All of these songs and many more will be included on the El Gitano Greatest Hits album which is a free download that was released in November 2009.
