Sephora Bateman with her twin sister Senora has been singing for as long as they can remember. They have always enjoyed expressing themselves through music and decided last year to share their music with the world. Together they wrote and produced their first album “Break Out” and formed “Echo Mirror.”
During their last year of high school, they wrote the lyrics to 10 songs while driving to school. Their parents, however, would not allow them to start recording before their graduation. After graduation, they began recording the songs for Break Out. The album includes several types of music to show how colorful the world is. Since they have listened to a wide range of musical genres, their eclectic style is influenced by everything from Taylor Swift to Enrique Iglesias to Sega from islands in the Indian Ocean.
The twins sometimes perform duets, but each of them also has their style which they like to express in solo tracks. When either gets stuck on a song, they often turn to the other, who provides their own interpretation on the theme. They claim that it’s their twin power.
