Biography
Music is one of God's special gifts that bends the ear and flows through the soul of all mankind. Although, it only seeps deeply into the veins of some. Once in the blood, music and song WILL, eventually, be expressed from the heart of the possessor in its chosen form.

Dylan Brabham was born into a "music scene" of sorts. Dylan's grandmother, Jessie Trammell Grier, climbed onto a piano stool at the early age of six, and was soon banging out jazz, gospel, blues, and boogie woogie licks on the ivories - 'to beat the band'! He was totally smitten with Grandma Jessie's charisma, wit, and love of music and song. Also, Dylan's earliest memory of his dad, Bill, is his strumming guitar and singing ballads to him and his sister, Laci, at bedtime.

From the time he could talk he was being taught poems, songs, word-ryhming, and, even rhythm and meter. And, of course, Dylan's first Christmas gift from Mom and Dad was a toy guitar. - Dylan's dad learned early on that he(Dylan) was blessed with his own musical odyssey, so one day he drew eight guitar chords on lined notebook paper and gave it to him and said, "You'll figure it out from here".

At the early age of 12 Dylan picked up a guitar, started learning chords and progressions, and was soon playing songs, most of which were much older than himself. At 13, he accompanied his father to several playing gigs, where he would play the breaks. He attracted the attention of listeners of all ages. People couldn't believe that a 13 year old kid was belting songs like "Jack and Diane" and "Crocodile Rock". He was different. He was good. In no time at all, Dylan was playing his own gigs. He played for both big and small crowds, and as his name got bigger, so did his fan base. In 2006, Dylan was offered a job in the Midwest States, and moved away from home. His work allowed very little time for his music, and no time at all for pursuing it. He made this sacrifice for 3 years and was finally faced with the most important decision of his life. He chose to leave his well-paying job, come home to Alabama, and dive head first into his music career. He was writing his own songs, getting playing jobs in other towns, making connections, and most importantly, developing a huge fan base. While he still got requests for songs like "Come Pick Me Up" and "Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat", people were asking to hear original songs. His original music was contageous.

In early 2006, Dylan met a very talented songwriter/musician/producer named Billy Earl McClelland, who saw something special in him. In 2008 they went to work on this very album. Countless hours, blood, sweat, and tears were exhausted in the three years that they worked to complete their project (or as they called it, their "baby"). Billy Earl has been a huge influence in Dylan's life, career, and music, as have his countless friends, family members, and fans. His original compositions are drawn from real life experiences. Not just his own, but those of friends, acquaintances, and, in some cases, complete strangers. His music is unique and almost impossible to forget after you've heard it. It has, not only, heart, but soul. So, here it is, three years of hard work and dedication, the first of what we all hope will be many albums released by Dylan. He gives credit to everyone who has been a part of his life, every person who has come out to hear him, every one who has made a single sacrifice in his name. Some credit must be given to his constant sidekick, 'man's best friend' and companion, his Border Collie, Simon. Dylan was born with a tune in his head and a song in his heart, and he carries on the name of a legend. May God's will be done in his life.
