Biography
Together, Diane and Mildred produce and host a Bluegrass / Country Gospel TV program with live performances titled, "Diane and Mildred's Gospel Music Arts". The telecast helps preserve Grassroots Gospel Music, Bluegrass, Country, and Olde Tyme Gospel in the Appalachians.
Mildred Statzer is a veteran artist of Gospel Music. She is a multi-instrumentalist who has written more than sixty Gospel songs, recorded more than five albums, can sing any harmony part at will, and has traveled many years as a member of several reputable Gospel groups. Like Diane, Mildred is also passionate about the message, power and artistry of Grassroots Gospel Music.
Diane McKoy pioneered New York City's first known Bluegrass Gospel band called NYC's Singing Conquerors, along with band's co-founder Russell Scholl. The band thrived for more than thirteen years with travel. Diane is a veteran recording artist who performed Country Music and Bluegrass collectively for more than 30 years in NYC. Diane's music roots is Grassroots Gospel, Blues, Rock, R N B, and Country Music.
