Days In May
  • Hey Aly
Biography
Days in May got started when one day sitting in a little hole in the wall of a restaurant. One of our close friends pointed out that we should start a band. Since we had been playing around and writing some short songs. So we then headed back towards Scott’s house and laid down the beginning tracks of the song “For You”, which we had been messing around with for about a week or so. Once getting some positive feedback from family and friends we decided to continue and just write and record some good chill music.

Days in May was founded by Lance Carrier and Scott Hill. Both have grown up in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their friendship started in middle school with a love of sports, which since the beginning of high school became more of a love for music. Then since the middle of our senior year we decided to form a band and be official.

Our songs really mean a great deal to us. Yeah of course as with all bands some parts of songs we just wrote so we could “have a finished song”. But nine times out of ten the song is about something real or something we have experienced in life. What we try to accomplish is a song that you can come home from work, school, or just a bad day in general. Sit down, press play, and leave your cares behind
