Biography
Boogie Reverie (Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S.A.) has been busy recording music obsessively since 2003 in his studio, the First Blood Lodge, located in Carrboro, NC. For almost 9 years, recording consistently on a near-daily basis as a one-man project has allowed him the space and time to produce and perfect his own cosmic brand of cutting-edge experimental pop. In 2009, he formed Phantascist, a popular but short-lived mostly improvisational free-jazz group which released two albums before suffering a particularly turbulent break-up. In early 2011, Boogie released his debut album Prest, after four years of it's original recording in 2007. That album contained some very powerful single material, including the soaring pop anthems "Serum Blue" and "Certainly Kimberly". After getting started, he formed another band, Boogie & the HipStars to promote his studio material in a live setting. Currently, Reverie is hard at work on a new LP, Hip New Wavicle of the Unscene Star, which is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2012. This record confirms the notion that Mr. Reverie is a force to be reckoned with in the pop world. Not since Brian Wilson has something so massively artistic and innovative been produced in the world of experimental pop music by one human being alone. As reviewer/blogger Kevin Matthews puts it in his review of Reverie's debut album Prest (http://www.powerofpop.com/?p=8624), "One thing is clear – Reverie is a musical sponge and is able to take the myriad strange and wonderful sounds of pop and rock music history and distill them into some kind of coherent manifesto for his own philosophy of rock ‘n’ roll". I couldn't agree more.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
