The Osborne Brothers, Bobby and Sonny, were one of the most popular bands of the original bluegrass generation. In the 1960s, after adding drums and electric instruments to their sound, they even enjoyed a string of hit records. On this 2007 solo outing, mandolin player and high tenor singer Bobby returns to a traditional sound, with an ensemble that features fiddler Glen Duncan and guitarist Bobby Osborne, Jr., who form a potent vocal trio with their leader. Rhonda Vincent sings a powerful duet with Bobby on “Go Rest High on That Mountain.”
