Biography

Blair Mathews has been a singer-songwriter for more than 15 years, producing jingles and music for film and television. His debut country radio single, "It's About Us," goes to country radio in early 2014.

Influenced by both the country and rock genres, Mathews honed his writing and performing skills while performing regionally at clubs and festivals. In early 2013, he met Grammy Award-winning producer, Chad Carlson, and began recording at world-renowned Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville, as well as Carlson's Hippo Productions studio. Those sessions resulted in the songs scheduled for release in early 2014 on Stoneyhill Productions, including "It's About Us," Mathews' lead radio single.

Blair Mathews grew up in a small farming community, spending much of his youth fishing in creeks and lakes. An accomplished athlete, he excelled at several sports and played lacrosse at a semi-professional level. Mathews is a strong supporter of the Humane Society and has a particular fondness for dogs and horses. He has personally owned more than a dozen horses, including Tennessee Walkers, Thoroughbreds and Warm Bloods.
