Newly signed to Avenue B Multimedia NYC for management, booking and promotion for Canada, US and Europe, the band from Trois-Rivieres will release their new album in May 2009 on Avenue B Records. In June the Band will start their Noks Tour to support their first single "Hold On" who will be service to radio through AirPlay Direct.They will tour the east coast, UK and Ireland and offer Acoustic and Electric shows.

A full 3D animation video will be launch in mid April on MTV, VH1, Much Music, YouTube and more.

In UK the first single will appear on the April promo sampler of Manchester base the White Label (www.thewhite.co.uk).

The forthcoming release of around joshua – cassiopeiae noks with national distribution in North America and Europe. The album will also be available for download and ring tone.

around joshua is from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. The band was formed 7 years ago by singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Talbo. What started out as an alternative rock band has evolved over time to become more of a indie Brit pop sound.

The buzz gave the opportunity to perform in key market Montreal, Quebec City, performing in the best venue likes Café Campus.Their live performance gave them a chance to open for international act like Grimskunk, Joseph Arthur, Patrick Watson, The Dears, DJ Champion, Malajube & We are wolves…

The band perform at the prestigious Art Vocal Festival, has part of the 2006 & 2008 edition. Enriched by the collaboration of various musicians, the band made different arrangements more melodic and refined.

Their cd caught the attention of the president of Indica Records M.Franz Schuller; his label has distribution in over 30 major markets and the represent bands like Grimskunk, the Heights, Joseph Arthur and les Trois Accords who sold over 100000 units of the latest release.

M. Schuller mentored the band throughout the process and introduced them to producer; Jordon Zadorozny, who has worked with artists such as Sam Robert’s Band and Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, Smashing Pumpkins). The recording session took place at his studio in Pembroke, Ontario starting in November 2007 working on new material.

Guillaume Lemieux from the prestigious booking agency S.L. Feldman & Associates (www.slfa.com) has shown interest to represent the band once the recording is complete.

With this team in place around joshua will make big noise in 2009!
