Her strong voice is mature beyond her young years.
Born and raised in the small town of Sikeston, Missouri, Anna Catherine has grown up on southern hospitality and many of the values that country music embraces. Always living in the Show-Me State, she believes her singing speaks much louder than her words. Her strong passion for music and to be the best she can be drives her desire to prove she belongs in country music. With a strong love for God, family, friends and community, Anna Catherine’s heart is loyal, loving and genuine.
Anna Catherine began performing on stage at the age of 12 as part of the Livewires youth talent group in New Madrid, Missouri. Immediately, her voice stood out, and she soon decided to follow her love of singing. Performing covers of all of her idols on stage, Anna Catherine began working on her craft off stage as she started learning to play different instruments while also working on her voice.
Winning competitions such as the American Idol Experience at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios along with the top prize for the Heartland Idol Youth Division at the 2010 SEMO District Fair, Anna Catherine performs all over Southeast Missouri with her band Dirtroad Express. She debuted with her band during the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center telethon in the spring of 2011, and she and the band opened up for Grammy winning country artist, and fellow Southeast Missourian, David Nail at a benefit to support flood relief victims.
Mixed with amazing and talented singers and musicians that make up Dirtroad Express, Anna Catherine continually strives to grow as an artist. With original music in the works, it’s only a matter of time before this high school senior graduates from high school and onto country radio. Nashville has already taken notice. Have you?
