Biography
Singer/Songwriter Wendy Morgan released her debut CD in 1996 “Say Wen”, a CD of self-penned originals in an eclectic Jazz/Pop style. The song “Anyday Now" cowritten with Tom Krol won a Billboard Achievement Award. “I Just Let Go” also on her CD was co-written with pianist Frank Caruso received airplay on local radio and American Airlines. 2006 the remix of "Free Aida" won the peterharper.com music contest. In 2008 Ms. Morgan released her jazz EP "Next". She is busy working on the complete CD to be released by Summer 2008. Ms. Morgan has been seen over the years at Taste of Chicago and various clubs and concert halls around Chicago. She has received the ASCAP award for performing originals live n 2008. She hosts and sings at a semi-monthly program "The Local Vocal Brew" at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago. Ms. Morgan is a member is SAG and AFTRA.
