Biography

Vernon Oxford had his biggest hit in 1977 with the original REDNECK song, on RCA Victor Records. Currently, he has many cds out and a 5-cd-box set on Bear Family Records of Germany. The current album: VERNON OXFORD sings Gospel, Country & Bluegrass is doing well initially with the lead song being:
THE LAST DAYS OF NEW ORLEANS, with this song out on a cd compilation; followed by the HO BO song.
