Biography

A California native, Vanessa grew up in a musical family, but didn't dive into it until her college years. "I always loved music, knew I would play and sing, but wasn't sure that dreams ever became reality."
After picking up the guitar and piano again, Vanessa found her voice in writing, while completing her degree in English Literature. She began to put into song much of what she was practicing in school, and soon found that she was making a connection between her life and those that listened. "The songs that I write are of moments lost, the reality of life and love, and the hope of what's to come."

After years of playing covers, working with bands, Vanessa is now settling into her own as a performer and songwriter. With the completion of her first album, Vanessa is looking forward to what will come next. "I loved working on this album, and I am just as excited to work on the next."

The album is appropriately entitled "Lessons Learned" and is set to be released this year through .
