Biography
While the people of Atlanta, Georgia appreciate the White Tee, Finger Snappin movement of the Franchize
Boyz and D4L and the Gritty Hood Muzik TI and Jeezy introduced the game to, and not to sleep on southern pioneers such as Outkast, Goodie Mobb, UGK, MJG&8Ball, 3x6 Mafia, Ghetto Boyz, etc… the Hip-hop waters are ready for a new southern splash and TightWork Ent. head honcho’s, the ‘Urban Legendz’, plans to go in cannonball style.

Known as the Greatest Unsigned and The Best Unheard Of, the Urban Legendz hail from a small town 30 mins East of Atlanta that was built on rampant drugs, alcohol, and violence. However, after studying other artists to be a great Masters of Ceremonies, and wanting to reflect on the "gritty truth" in the hood instead of the constant negative sterotypes, The ‘Urban Legendz’ aims to create a sound that needs to be heard at loud volumes only. "I want to show [that] the South is more than [just] screaming, yelling, and stereotypes says DeeMoney."

With today's globally lukewarm music climate, the task does seem like bit of a stretch but if anybody is capable of grabbing the people's attention, it would have to be the “Urban Legendz”. At times, the swagger, energy, and flow can be reminiscent of Atlanta’s best well know rappers. The true-to-life, story-telling style of rap has earned the Legendz a growing buzz in the Streets of the ATL. The latest street-single "SHAWTY LIKE DAT,"ft. lablemates 2FA30 will be featured on the upcoming mixtape “The Streetz Made Me Do It” Pt. 2 is steadily gaining momentum on the Southern home-front, as that track coupled with the instant smash, "THAT DUDE," will definitely be a must have for all DJ’s abroad. Following successful artist like TI, Jeezy, and Outkast, the Urban Legendz know the road to success may be a bumpy ride all the way through. Musically they are ready for the journey and plan to put the TightWork Ent. camp on the map even if they have to take the drive alone.
