Biography
Traumatide: Loud, sexy, American rock n' roll. Guitars, drums, screams, shouts, and even a few seductive whispers. Femme fatale, but only in the most charming way.

Traumatide is a four-piece modern rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. Their sound is characterized by sexy, inspirational, soaring female vocals, powerful, rocket-powered guitar riffs, backed by a groovalicious rhythm section. Their melodically driven, hook-laden songs have quickly attracted a very enthusiastic audience.

Most bands regard recording their music as a reasonable goal, something to look forward to after many years of performing and finding their niche. Traumatide is not quite like these other bands. An energetic modern rock band that is comfortable pounding out a heavy groove, or laying down soul-searching melodies, the group's four members barely knew one another when they pooled their writing and performing talents to put out their first record. Now, together for just over a year, Traumatide has released their debut CD 'This Thing Called Life' to the Birmingham music market, as well as to music fans from coast to coast looking to absorb their unique brand of hard-edged modern rock. With a style that incorporates the latest sounds in rock, a bit of pop, and other choice formats that spice up the mix, Traumatide is poised to establish themselves as a potent live act and engaging recording artists as well.
