The Talons array of instruments consist of 9 congas, 2 basses (horizontal and upright) 3 congas belonging to Tony Rodrigues of Oakland, 3 congas by David Rages of East Palo Alto, congas, cymbals, timbales, and marimba, Jeffery Carr....William Jackson congas and bongos, keyboards by Matt Radich of San Mateo, Charlie Channel, bassist, from East Palo Alto, Mark Wright on trumpet, and guitarist Ron Reynolds of San Mateo.

When they play, an instant wave of romantic nostalgia rips through the place, coupled with heat and the undulating surge of the drummers that catapult us into Utopia.
