Having recently started to gain national attention, including coverage in Maximum Rock N' Roll, Razorcake and more, The Nerve Scheme have ridden a long, hard road to earn it.
The band has been around in one form or another since the 90's, and with it's current incarnation they have managed to rise above the underground in which they have thrived. The band mixes up a unique blend of mid 80's era punk rock with a "Queers-ish" sort of pop punk familiarity. One minute you could listening to an alcohol fueled hardcore song, and the next singing along to songs that will be stuck in your head all week. The Nerve Scheme have supported such acts as "The Independents", "The Queers", "Agent Orange", NOFX" and many, many more.Keep an ear out for their track "Not Sorry" currently in rotation on both college and mainstream F.M stations. The bands current self titled demo release is distributed worldwide through ILC distribution and Plastichead(U.K) The Nerve Scheme sits along side such label mates as Down By Law, The Spears, Pink Lincolns, Moral Crux and more.Having already embarked on several tours of the east coast and Midwest, the band is gathering a large fan base across the region and is spreading unique blend of catchy pop punk, three chord anthems and body odor. The Nerve Scheme is here
