Biography

After almost a 2 year hiatus the remaining members of SHeRRY (brother and sister) Teddy Lane and Sherry Lane have started working on new material for there second CD. The material is in the same vain as the first EP but with more mature song writing,(a lot has happened in the last 2 years, so there is no shortage of content.) The group disbanded in the fall of 2005 after personal matters between members could not be resolved, at the same time lead guitar player Tara Mcleod left to join the all girl metal band Kittie, and the rest of the band going there seperate ways. Teddy went on to join Toronto rock band Tenth Planet witch lead to a European tour in the fall of 2006. upon return leaving to start writing with sister Sherry. This dynamic foursome is becoming well known for their contagious energy and sound. Bouncing from stage to stage all across Ontario sharing the stage with big Canadian acts like Sass Jordan, Alana Myles, Kim Mitchell and The Salads. the SHERRY band is best categorized as pop-rock with a metal edge. Irresistible songs such as Fred, the funk-punk of Blind and the life song Sunday have become anthems everywhere they go. Scene magazine says the pop slam of Sherrys debut assures that not only will there be a follow up trip to the studio but that it will be keenly awaited. (Bob Klanac). All members share the same hometown - Strathroy. Their love of music and passion to create and perform drives them to high expectations. The success of the SHERRY band can only be measured by the fans, and the hard work and dedication.
