Biography
Seredina Dnea, which translates as "middle of the day", is a rock band from Moscow that was formed in 2001 by Sergey Pasechnik. Before the group, which had existed since 1986, was called Vyeter (wind) and played hard rock. The name was then changed to "Kristobal Khunta" after the reorganization of the band at the beginning of the nineties. In 1992 the collection of songs "Kricto" was released, and in 1998, the album "Solntsa parom" was released as well. The group broke up in the period between these albums and reassembled with a new make-up. The members who have remained unchanged are solo guitarist Sergey Lyaptsev, and Sergey Pasechnik on guitar and vocals. The project, which was started in 2001, is called "Seredina DNEA". In August of 2002 the album "Gorod v sobstvennom vryemeni" was recorded and saw the light of day in August of 2003. The promotional video for the song "Polnaya Luna" (full moon) was filmed by the director Vadim Koshkin (Mango Mango Kalinov Most, and Mister Tvister among others), and received a prize at the Moscow film festival for uncommercial cinema - STYK. The group Seredina DNEA currently consists of the following members: Sergey Pasechnik - guitar, vocals, Sergey Lyaptsev - solo guitar, Alexander Lobanov - bass, Elena Kachurina - keyboard, Alexander Gondyurina - drums, 1992 Kristo i S collection, 1998 Soontsa parom album, 2002 Gorod v sobstvennom vryemeni album.
