About Scott
Scott Linza, known for his powerful originals and fresh takes on traditional worship music, is a growing figure in the Christian music scene. An accomplished pianist, Scott has been playing piano since the age of five.

Scott was a music major at Appalachian Bible College in West Virginia for a year before joining the United States Air Force. He served for 24 years, and in that time had the opportunity to lead worship services in locations around the world, including Christmas concerts and weekly Praise and Worship services for all denominations.

Scott began his songwriting career at the early age of fifteen, and in 2007, his worship song, “I Worship You Only” was played for the first time during services at his church. Other songs soon followed, and in 2008, Scott’s debut album “I Worship You Only” was released, and included a collection of ten original songs, including the single “I Call on You,” which was written with his wife Michelle. Scott remained in the studio, releasing his second album “Anointing Flow Through Me” two years later, which included a series of ten piano compositions.

A few years later, Scott was moved to arrange and release the classic “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” Christmas carol, with a flavor of upbeat jazz. With the popularity of this new twist on the original 1739 English song, Scott is set to release a pair of additional carols for the 2021 Christmas season, including “O Come O Come Emmanuel” and “Gloria (Glory to God in the Highest).”

Scott Linza and his wife Michelle have been married since 1997, and are blessed with four wonderful children, Brandon, Baron, Sierrah, and Joseph. Scott has been involved as a musician with local church ministries since 1997. His music has been recognized worldwide, and has been featured on “We Sing Our Faith” radio programs, as well as in churches around the globe through CCLI licensing.
